I've never been one to have a 'green thumb' but have really been trying the past few years since being in our new house. Last year my first garden ever did pretty well. We had lots of peas, zucchini and acorn squash to eat.
This spring we are planting another garden. This year we are doing peas and zucchini again since they were a bit hit last year. We are trying some yellow squash this year along with carrots. Want the boys to see how carrots grow under the soil. Before yesterday our carrots were looking good. Last night when I checked them though critter had eaten off all the pretty green leaves on top. Not sure if they will still grow alright or not. Only time will tell.
