All good things much come to an end.
Carrie and I spent Saturday doing NOTHING.  We got up, watched Sex in the City 2.  Good movie, we enjoyed it.  Then we got wild and crazy and went to a movie.  Neither one of us had been to a movie in the theater in years.  We saw Due Date and it was a great one!  Lots of laughs had by all.  To top off our day we made chicken dip and watched yet another movie, Get Him to the Greek.  We laughed so hard!  It was a super day of doing nothing but watching movies.  Haven't done that in many years and probably won't get to do it again for many more.
Got a text from Dusty around eleven at night or so saying that Daniel was sick and vomiting.  It didn't seem to stop.  Finally around midnight (I think) Carrie and I packed up all our stuff and headed home to Readlyn so I could take care of my boys.
Yes, illness has stuck the Platte house yet again.  Daniel was puking until about 9:30 the next morning.

Poor bean was so tired from being up most of the night, his robe was a great pillow for sleeping on the floor.

Monday of this week everyone was doing fine.  Dusty was back out of town working again.  Daniel has Wednesday and Friday off from school this week.
Tuesday was our first Parent Teacher Conference.  The teacher had great things to say about Daniel and how he is doing in school.  Socially is were he needs the most work, but he is growning.
So proud of our Daniel.

Tuesday night things changed.  Sammy wasn't having any part of going to bed and had began to cough alot.  Nothing worked to get him to stop coughing and at about 1:30 a.m. he began wheezing.  When Daniel woke up around 5:30 a.m. we got ourselves ready to get out the door to take Sammy to the ER.  Sammy was admited and ended up needing O2 at night due to the inflamation in his lungs from his viral infection he has.  He finally got discharged on Saturday morning and the first thing we did when we got home was give him a good bath.
I remember all too well being at the hospital with Daniel was he was a baby and that was bad, but this was so much worse since Sammy is almost three years old.   He kept asking to put his shoes on and go home.  I had to be in his sight at all times.  Hope we are done with hospitals for a long long time now.
