MerRy CHrisTmAs!!!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!  It is getting so fun around here with Daniel and Sammy.  They are very curious about their gifts.  We are trying to teach them to feel and shake their presents to try to figure out what they are.  A few nights ago Sammy was picking up gift bags and shaking them up and down and saying "nope, don't know what it is."  Dusty and I were just laughing and enjoying it so much.

Daniel had his Christmas party at school today and they got to make and eat a gingerbread house.  Not sure of any other details since he is a boy of few words when it comes to telling us about his days.

Daniel asks about five time a day if he can open a gift yet.  Yesterday they got a surprise and got a box of presents from a family friend.  They got to open them up also.  YIPPY.  Last night we had a quick little gift exchage with two of their little friends.  It was so cute to watch them.  The boys  each got a new car from their friend Lily.

Hoping the weather holds out on Friday for us to get to Des Moines to have Christmas at Uncle Josh's house.  We haven't seen the girls or Bennet (Josh and Rachelle too of course) for a few months now and I am sure they are all growing like weeds.

I'll be sure to take lots of pictures to share.  Already did a booboo and didn't bring either camera with me to the first Christmas of he seaon last Friday.  We did Christmas at Great Grandma and Grampa Platte's house.  We had a nice laid back time and ate pizza and cookies.  It was nice and the kids had alot of fun.  Wish I would have remember a camera though to share some pictures.  Jessica and Matt's little girl Avery is walking and talking now and growing up fast.

2010 has been a good year and we are looking forward to 2011.
