Daddy had some work to do this morning so I decided to take the boys on an adventure around Fayette county.  Our first stop was Pamida in Oelwein becuase mommy needed hanging baskets for her new annuals.  Then the real fun began.  We went to Fontana Park to see the animals.  It was perfect weather for our outing too.
We got to see an angry raccoon pacing his cage growling and snorting because we were there.  The big black bear was sleeping in his little house the whole time we were there.  We saw two eagles, two icky looking vultures.  Three big rabbits.  Many ducks of all sizes.  Deer and buffalo, even two baby buffalo.  One red fox that would peek out of his house when we would walk away and lots of birds.

Mammy got wobbly knees walking over the bridge with the boys.  They did good staying by  my side though and not causing me any more wobbles.  They thought seeing the water under them was pretty neat.

Here they run to the first park of the day.

 Done at park #1
Now it is time for a snack on the bench.
 Park #2

 Park #3
Not too pretty, but we don't care.

 Park #4

 On our way to...

Park #5!
Now this one was a real looker.
The slide was one of the good old fast ones though!

 And this

is exactly

what a mother

wants to see

after all that

running around.
