Trick or Treating 2008.

Happy Halloween everyone.

This year the boys got to get dressed up two different nights for trick or treating. On Sunday, Oct. 26th our town had its night and then we went to see some family members on the 31st.

Here is Sammy with Pops at the ranch. Tonight Sammy was a skeleton. It was perfect weather on the 31st for being out and about. I think it must have been close to 70 degrees which is just unheard of for Iowa on Halloween.

Here is Daniel with Yaya. Daniel is probably begging her for more candy.

We had to stop at Kurt's house (and of course Aunt Angie was there). We even played outside a bit there. Kurt is the fire chief in his town and was going to take Daniel to the fire station but we had to keep moving on down the road to more houses. We'll get to the fire station some day soon though.

The best we could do to try to get a picture of the boys together in their costumes.

Sammy was a very cute penguin on the 26th for own towns trick or treating. He was built for speed in his costume that is for sure.

However tonight Sammy had to stay home with the men and hand out candy since it was only about 38 degrees, very windy and snowing.

Daniel got the hang of things quickly, but we didn't last long since it was so darn cold out.

Isn't he just cute! I am talking about Daniel as a fireman. I am sure he will be asking someone to help him get more candy out soon.

That wraps up our October celebrations for 2008. It was a fun year for Daniel and next year Sammy will be more into things.
