Trip to the Spam Museum

Yes, you read that right, we went to the spam museum. We have been a few times now. It is alot of corny fun.

The boys did really well considering it was a long day for them both. Even got this rare moment on film....Daniel touching this brother and not screaming.
Last year was Daniel's first year and he loved the train in the entry way. Well this year the train was even more exciting for him.

Look, doesn't everyone want a holiday picture taken with Spammy? But of course they do.

Another rare and amazing mement caught on film. My dad using a cell phone. Even more amazing is that is it HIS very own cell phone! This picture should be worth some money.

This is Sammy's first encournter with a Christmas tree. He wanted to touch the bulbs of course. I am sure he would have tried to eat all the ornaments if we had let him too.

We had to work in the warehouse while there to earn money for gas to get back home to Iowa. Here is dad and Patty getting ready to clock in for their shift. (only kidding, hope you all knew that)

Now here is Dusty and I ready to work our shift. Not sure dad and Dusty's coats fit too well, but guess the manager doesn't care.

We even tried to put the boys to work too. Sammy got out of it because his hat didn't fit well.

We did get Daniel to help us on the assembly line producing Spam. He was in charge of the button to turn the oven light on to cook the Spam. We made 6 cans in about 2 1/2 min. while the actual Spam plant produces about 753 cans in that same amount of time. Sounds like we have to work on speeding things up.

My dad even got suck loading boxes.

This museum has so much fun stuff to do. You will learn anything and everything about Spam and the Hormel company you never even knew you wanted to know.
