Today is the day our little boy starts school.  He is a month shy of being four years old and is starting Pre-K.  He has been looking forward to this for a long time.  I hope his love for school lasts a lifetime.

Here is the official FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL picture that is a MUST.

He wanted to ride his bike to school on his first day.  Has on his Spiderman backpack and is all ready to go!

Here he is parking his bike in with all the other big bikes.  He is so proud of himself and mommy and daddy are so proud of him too.

The long walk to the front door.

The Pre-K class goes in through the side door of the school.  This is a locked door that at 12:15 the teacher opens the door and lets the kids in.

He went in and found his name by the hook in the hall to hang his backpack on, then all the kids are to go in and pick out a book or puzzle to occupy themselves until all the class has arrived.  Daniel picked out a book and wasn't quite comfortable sitting on the floor with the other kids yet, so he chose the chair.  I think he is just going to teach the class. 

Oh yeah, and he even let the teacher put a name sticker on his shirt.  Amazing concidering he HATES stickers.

We are so proud of Daniel.

Mommy and Sammy get some alone time to learn and grow while Daniel is at school from 12:30-3:30 daily.  It is great for both the boys.
