Spring has SPRUNG!!!

Don't know about anyone else, but I am ready for spring. We have had a nice taste of it this week with temps in the 50's and lots of sunshine most days. However there is talk of some accumulating snow to maybe hit our area this weekend. Crazy!

Sunday we began out day by picking up Aunt Angie and going to visit some lab puppies at her sister-in-laws house. The boys hadn't really seen any baby animals up close and personal before. They were both so excited. Sammy kept on squealing with delight.

They even got a chance to sit inside the box with all the puppies. There were 9 puppy tails to try not to step on.

Daniel asked to hold the yellow puppy. He did a good job being gentle.

After seeing big brother hold one of the puppies Sammy had to do the same. He chose the largest puppy in the bunch. As you can see in the picture he thought that was pretty darn awesome.

After visiting the puppies and then dropping Aunt Angie off at home we headed back home but stopped off at Yaya and Pop's house first. They were outside playing with the dogs.

The boys were just running around and seeing just how many grass stains they could get on themselves before we left.
Sammy got to get in one of Pop's old trucks and pretend to drive. He even figured out how to see Pop's though the side mirror. These boys grow up so fast they will be turning 16 and getting their drivers license before we know it.

We had to head home after our visit because neither one of the boys had had a nap yet and it was getting close to supper time.

Until next time.

Next time came very soon....Monday.

Monday we started the day with getting some groceries and then dropping by the farm so mommy could take some pictures and so the boys could burn off some energy.

They did a good job burning off some energy alright. They were running circles around me and all the trees.

Today must have been in the 50's with nice clear blue skies. We were only able to see 2 little patches of snow that were left.

We found some of the hills behind Great Grandma and Grandpa's house and they boys were running up and down, up and down. Then I realized that I didn't think they had ever rolled down a hill before. I asked them both to lie down on the ground and I gave them a good push.

It didn't take either one of them very long to master the art of rolling down a hill. They found that even more fun then running up and down.

In the picture they really are rolling down the hill not taking a nap. At times they did have to stop at the bottom of the hill and rest. That only lasted about 5 seconds at the most though.

Heading back to the house and van of course we had to stop at every little thing and check it out.

What does Sammy see?

A pair of geese. Funny thing was that when taking this picture I did even notice the pair of ducks in the background resting.

It was a very fun day and we were all tuckered out by the time 7 pm rolled around.

Until our next adventure....ENJOY.
