We went on the picnic today in Evansdale.  We enjoyed our lunch watching the geese swim in the lake.  After our lunch we went to play on the playground.  I set out a blanket to sit on while watching the boys play and had a few unexpected visitors.  Ducklings.  They were so loud and peeping constnantly.  The boys got to see these babies up very close.

The two that visited my blanket found a sibling and then settled down to wait for mommy or daddy duck under a picnic table in the shelter area.  When we were leaving the parking lot we saw the adult duck leading its babies safely back to the lake.
