Well we have made it through our first week home together as a family of 4 now. Daniel is adjusting as best we can expect. Sammy is doing well. Eating well for us. Wakes up about every 3 hours night and day to eat. So far he is a better sleeper then Daniel was as a newborn first at home, but we also have learned alot about routines and how important they are for babies and toddlers. Daniel has done great not waking up at night when Sammy cries or when we are going in and out of our room for bottles and bathroom trips. That surprises us alot.
Daddy helps out great before he heads off to work for the day and then it is just me and the boys at home. I am enjoying being a stay-at-home-mom of these two boys. I try to find creative things to do with Daniel and usually keep Sammy near us too.
We are very blessed to have such wonderful boys.
Just this morning my brother Josh phoned mom (who was staying with us this weekend to help us out) to let her know their baby is on the way. I guess he and Chelle have been at the hospital since 2 am. The nurse thought that they should have their baby new this afternoon. How exciting. Mom took off for Des Moines and dad and Patty will be heading that way too as soon as Patty can get off work.
Our family just keeps getting bigger and bigger!

**** EDIT **** The newest addition to the family is here. Josh and Rachelle had their baby boy this evening. His name is Bennet William. He is a very handsome boy. Can't wait to meet him in person soon. CONGRATS to the new mommy and daddy!
