Grump Days 2008

Anyone who is interested in knowing what our family has been up to can't complain that they don't know if they check this blog regularly. Since recovering from my gallbladder surgery I have had the time to really update things on here.

Grump Days went on this weekend. I wasn't feeling the best but tried to go up to activities with the boys and Dusty.

Daniel got to check out the tractor that drove the 'choo choo' train he took a ride on.
Here we are watching the parade. It passed by right at the end of our block. Daniel got lots of candy to fill up his wagon.
These fine feathered friends walked in the parade with their owner. They all had on festive clothes and walked so proud. Daniel thought they were just the best.
Both Dusty and I were both very surprised that Daniel actually took a ride on the train alone. They drove it around the block and he didn't even scream when they pulled away from us. Our boy is sure growing up.

Aunt Angie was around to help pick up candy at the parade.
There were many tractors in the parade. Green ones, red ones, yellow ones, etc.
Daddy and Sam enjoyed the festivities too. We had perfect weather for the day.
It was our first of many Grump Day celebrations we will attend here in our new town. Dusty had gone up to fireworks on Friday night with some friends and said they were great. Maybe next year Daniel will stay up to watch them.
Well better to until I find something more to type about or have more pictures to share.
