This month at school Daniel is learning about fire safety.  This week they went to the fire station and learned all about the fire trucks and the firefighters.  Due to state laws the school had to drive the kids to the fire department (which is 3 blocks from the school) in a school bus.  However it was pretty cool for some of the kids since they had never been on a school bus before.  Daniel was one of those kids.  He told me that he sat with Lily S. on the way there and couldn't tell me the name of the boy he rode back with.

This week Daniel also showed us that he can hold a pencil correctly.  He can write all the letters to his name now too.  As of this week he is writting with his right hand, but other times at home I see him using his left.  Not sure what hand he will decide on.
